Job Purpose

We are looking to hire a creative Social Media Manager to help strategize, plan, execute, and monitor our social presence. In addition, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for producing original content to promote our work and services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Write Case Studies, Blog Posts, White Papers, and Press Releases
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams, like design, account service, etc. to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Hands on experience using WordPress as a CMS
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Organized and self-sufficient
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills and can handle multiple tasks with ease
  • Passion for community building
  • Experience running community campaigns such as AMAs, virtual events, webinars, and feedback surveys

Working Conditions
