Case Study: Simplified Financial Solutions

The Objective

Simplified Financial Solutions is a full service financial brokerage dedicated to delivering mortgage products tailored to fit individual customer needs. We were approached by SFS to create an interactive online website that would be professional and functional. In order to introduce the brand, the website was paired with three separate direct mail campaigns that advertised their services.

Our Approach

We initially partnered with SFS to gain an understanding of how the website should function, look and feel. We determined that the website should have the ability to communicate their service offerings, provide information about mortgage agents, and provide an opportunity for clients to complete an online mortgage application.

During the initial development of the website, three separate direct mail ads were created that introduced the website and included some brief descriptions of services offered. Traditional financial service advertisements followed the same creative trend with similar messages promising the “best rates”. After some thought and brainstorming, it was decided that we would create a direct mail campaign that was appealing and completely different from traditional financial service ads.

The Result

As a result, the website design used lots of imagery and was published with information regarding the financial services they provided. A detailed mortgage application form was also available which could be sent directly to the broker, ultimately improving customer service.

The direct mail ads that followed used large imagery and direct messages that were humorous, fun, warm and specifically targeted for services in debt consolidation, new home purchases and refinancing.
